Adam is trapped in a futuristic cell room his entire life, until the automated controlling voice gives him 17 Minutes of free time. George, an employee at WorldCorp Research stationed to watch Adam, realises his entrapment in his 9-5 day job, sees himself reflected in Adam, and ultimately decides to break him out. Will Adam be able to conceive the idea of freedom after spending eternity entrapped?

Roderick Gadaev has worked on a variety of short form content since an incredibly young age, and has been outperforming his counterparts since then. 17 Minutes marks his most prominent film to date, boasting high concept and large scale, defying all odds. His films concentrate on dynamic relationships between the individual against the greater society; rebellious in nature. Since having graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, Gadaev has earned total of 12 international nominations (including Tallgrass) and 2 international wins for his previous short, ‘Penalties’, starring Nadim Accari and Marty O’Niel. Having directed prominent talent such as Matt Doran (Matrix, StarWars) and Brendan Clearkin (SFV1, Infini), he has gathered the skill and wisdom of working in a professional environment. He is well recognised in his local community within Sydney, Australia, and will continue his work in LA with prominent producers starting in 2019.
