Beastly Things

A young street artist encounters a vicious group of local schoolchildren, and learns what beastly behavior really means.

Zev Chevat is an award-winning animator and visual development artist. Born in NYC and raised in Montclair, NJ, Zev received his MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts. His first film, Beastly Things, won Best Animation (Horror) from the NYC Independent Film Festival, and Best Animated Short from the Toronto Short Film Festival, among others, and has screened at festivals worldwide. His illustration credits have included graphic novels, magazines, RPG manuals, and promotional posters for film and performance. He teaches animation at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
