Oscar Mongoût, a gourmet cannibal, burns with love for the neighbor in his building, the very vegetal Miss Carrot. This passion seems destined to fail: she is a vegetarian, while he suffers from a total phobia about vegetables. Things take a drastic turn the evening she invites him to dinner.

 

Axel studied illustration and photography at the renowned Art College Penninghen in Paris and at the Art University Bournemouth where he developed his love for animation. After graduating he started working as an artistic director on a multitude of advertising films for clients such as Ikea, Darty and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. 

After the success of his first short film, Axel started to work as a director in his own right and directed the ad celebrating the 80 years of Lacoste and the viral music video 'Big Bang' for Poom. 
This year the french icon Catherine Deneuve guest starring in his last short film 'Belle à croquer'. He brings together a multitude of styles and a surreal perspective with his sense of humour, creating something exciting and unique every time.
