Alice, a beautiful and ambitious camgirl, learns that she’s loosing her followers thank to another profile that looks exactly like her. As if that wasn’t scary enough, this double starts surpassing the limits of Alice’s online identity. Her control over the men in her life, and her life itself, suddenly vanishes. As she struggles to regain what she lost, Alice slowly becomes attracted back to her show and towards the mysterious person that took over place.

IndieWire has called it “a Lynchian horror about a camgirl in crisis”, Cam is a psychological thriller on the existential terror of losing one’s identity. The film had it’s world premire at Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal (Canada), and is headlined by the brilliant Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid’s Tale) whose performance adds a whole other layer of intensity
to the proceedings.

Daniel Goldhaber is a writer/director from Boulder, Colorado. An Emmy® award winner, Goldhaber is the new promise of Blumhouse Productions, a production company famous for low-budget horror franchises such as "Paranormal Activity" and "The Purge," and the critically acclaimed and Oscar winners "Whiplash" and "Get Out". 
Ambitious at a young age, Goldhaber made films and directed plays at a local theater in early high school. Goldhaber went on to study film at Harvard’s prestigious VES program where he directed two short films as well as a variety of music videos and commercial projects. 
Daniel is passionate about politically subversive genre film, the themes of identity, trauma, and masculinity, and wants to help reimagine the director authorship paradigm. He also likes dogs a lot. CAM is his first feature film.
