A sequel to the 2011 action comedy “The FP”, filmmaker Jason Trost continues the journey of our hero JRT, as he wanders through a post-apocalyptic landscape wherein rival gangs battle over the control of Frazier Park, through a dance-off competition at the Beat Beat Revolution game.

Almost entirely financed through an Indiegogo campaign, Beats of Rage has the pedigree of a big budget Hollywood action blockbuster, but with the nerve and originality that only an independent production such as this could have. A delirious into jump a dystopian universe bathed in geek culture references.

 

Jason Trost is a fourth generation filmmaker that has worked in the film industry for his entire life. Raised on sets, he began young, as an assistant for his father in the craft of practical special effects. With years of working and learning the intricacies of filmmaking, he developed an appreciation for the art while reaching further than just special effects. Today he has written, directed and starred in six feature films including: The FP, All Superheroes Must Die, How to Save Us, and the upcoming
FP2: Beats of Rage.
