I Am the Doorway

A sci-fi horror film based on the story by Stephen King. A first person POV perspective allows the audience to get inside the head of an astronaut trapped in a spaceship, as a strange virus grows inside him, altering his mind. To save himself he must take drastic action.

Robin Kasparik has been fascinated by film and its history since childhood. His short film Séance (2009) was presented in official selection at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in LA and was awarded as Best Short Film at the 2009 Diabolique International Film Festival. He is the first Czech filmmaker who has received permission to make a Stephen King short story into a film. He made his short sci-fi horror film in two versions; for regular cinemas and for fulldome technology, made for screening in planetarium domes. He is currently working on his feature debut.
