“SP : Chronicles of a real city”

Brazil  |  2018  |  92 minutes | Director: Elder Fraga

When stories based on fact mingle with fiction, it’s hardly to tell which one is which. “SP: Tales of a Real City” is a collection of five stories: A cop under rescue, a killer being punished, a sadist studying the limits between the beautiful and the grotesque, a search for lost memories, and the knowing that law and justice might be different things.

With 25 years of career, Elder Fraga has developed his work as a filmmaker, production director in theater, screenwriter and actor.
The director was awarded in 2018 with his first feature film "SP Chronicles Of A Real City " in Seville, Spain, in the category of Best Special Effects - NIAFFS 2018 (NOIDENTITY - International Action Film Festival), entirely dedicated to action films. "SSP Chronicles Of A Real City " premiered on August 30 at the 3rd Santos Film Fest - Santos International Film Festival. In November, just over three months, the film reached its 4th official selection, being selected for two more festivals in São Paulo, the ACAFILMS LOW FILM FESTIVAL and PHENOMENA FESTIVAL.

Fraga is a winner of 31 awards and 25 audio visual nominations, 4 awards in theater, and 2 awards as an art personality in 2018. His films have spanned more than 80 countries, awarded in Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Romania and Seville (Spain), passing twice by CANNES 2014 and 2015 (France).
