With a degree in journalism at the Federal University of Alagoas (2014), Paulo Silver began his contact with the cinema an a course called "Da lauda ao filme", where he mixed his academic studies with the cinematographic practice. He directed the movies Lixo (2013), Nelson dos Santos (2014), Selected for the 20th It's all true; Retina (2015), winner of the young jury grand prix at Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival; and Eu Me Preocupo (2017).
